The present invention relates to a water supply facility monitoring system using a drone characterized in comprising: a smart terminal which receives and stores a drone operation application for controlling operation of a flying drone, and activates the drone operation application to control an altitude and a flight path of the drone via wireless communication with the drone; the drone which receives and stores altitude information and flight path information transmitted from the smart terminal, photographs an object on the ground using an attached camera while flying at the altitude and along the flight path received from the smart terminal under the control of a controller, receives photographed image information and position information of a photographing point from a global positioning system (GPS) receiver, and transmits the received information to a server; and a server which receives image information of the object on the ground corresponding to the flight path and the position information of the photographing point of a corresponding image from the drone, compares the received information with reference image information of the facility corresponding to the corresponding position information stored in a memory, and, when the information do not match, provides the corresponding position information and the image information. The flight path is generated based on position information of major points with respect to a path of pipes, and altitude information can be determined differently according to camera performance and the object on the ground. According to the present invention, a water supply facility monitoring cost can be reduced, and the facility can be managed in an accurate and scientific manner.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
