Disclosed are a method and a system of content streaming service for reducing communication costs. The method of the content streaming service includes the steps of: receiving, by an electronic device, a file for content in a streaming manner from a server through a network to play the content through an application executed in the electronic device; storing, by an electronic device, the file of the received content in a local storage space; generating, by an electronic device, a local server loaded on a memory and executed; and receiving, by the application in the electronic device, the file stored in the local storage space through the local server in the steaming manner, to replay the content through the application.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
