1. A method of passivation and / or trapping of at least one metal impurity from a liquid oil product in a CPK installation, comprising: contacting said liquid oil product, which contains at least one metal impurity, with a catalytic mixture containing 1) a CPK catalyst, and 2) a metal passivator / trap that contains a mixture of R, Sb, and optionally M, where R is a redox element and M is an optional activator. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein said liquid petroleum product is selected from liquefied petroleum gases, oil without light fractions, residual petroleum products, weakly cracked oil, and mixtures thereof. The method of claim 1, wherein said redox element R is selected from Fe, Ce, Cr, U, Sn, or Mn. The method of claim 1, wherein said activator M is selected from oxides of Na, Zn, W, Te, Mo, Ca, Ba, Mg, Mn, Sn, or Cu. A method according to claim 1, wherein at least one of said metal impurities is selected from nickel, vanadium or mixtures thereof. The method according to claim 1, wherein said liquid oil product contains residual oil product. A method according to claim 1, wherein said metal impurity is present in said liquid petroleum product in an amount that is at least about 0.1 ppm. The method of claim 1, wherein said metal impurity is present in said liquid petroleum product in an amount of up to 200 ppm. The method of claim 1, wherein after contacting said liquid petroleum product with said catalytic mixture, said CPK catalyst has a deposit of at least 300 ppm. specified metallic impurity. 10.
