METHOD OF STIMULATING GERMINATION RATE OF SCOTS PINE SEEDS

FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: method comprises treating the seeds of Scots pine with the natural growth regulator obtained by extraction of needles and 1-2-year-old shoots of common juniper. One- and two-year shoots with needles are ground and then extracted with water at the rate of 40 g per 1 litre of water for 24 hours. The treatment with the aqueous extract of juniper needles is carried out by soaking the seeds with keeping in the solution for 18-24 hours at a temperature of 20-22ºC. The solution is used at the rate of 3-4 litres per 1 kg of seeds.;EFFECT: invention improves the rate of seed germination, soil germination and seedling resistance against fungal diseases.;3 tbl, 1 ex
