FIELD: test equipment.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tests and can be used to increase energy efficiency of mechanical transmission due to optimisation of its loading mode. Efficiency of mechanical transmission η is subject to hyperbolic dependence in function of moment M on drive shaft. Said dependence can determine limit value of load mode, in which efficiency of power transmission is stable at level of high values. Taking a confidence interval calculation of limit value of mechanical transmission efficiency equal to 90 %, a threshold value of efficiency ηGR, equal to 0.9 ηΣ. Then based on said hyperbolic dependence unknown threshold load moment MGR on drive shaft of mechanical transmission becomes equal to: MGR=10MXΣ. Thus, based on experimental determination of total moment of idle run MXΣ on drive shaft mechanical transmission set value of minimum required load mode, equal to MGY, while ensuring efficiency of mechanical transmission. Method then includes calculating minimum required power of drive motor NDB:NDV = MGR·ω, where ω - set frequency of rotation of drive shaft of mechanical transmission.;EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of measurement process, broader functional capabilities.;1 cl, 1 dwg
