FIELD: electronics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to simulation method for simulating electromagnet flow meters with use of induction coil, placed into channel of flow meter, and for determining conversion coefficient Kp. Method enables simulating electromagnetic flow meter in measurement of flow rate of liquid metals, and at high magnetic Reynolds numbers Rem. Simulation method for effect of magnetic Reynolds number upon signal of flow meter consists in following. Values are set for volumetric flow rate of liquid metal Q, for which Kp determination is necessary. For these values of volumetric flow rate, magnetic Reynolds numbers are calculated, further, conformity of value λ to specified values Q and Rem is either calculated, or is taken based on experimental materials. Placing Induction coil in accordance with calculated values λ, transformation coefficients are determined Kp. Then relationship between volumetric flow rate and coefficient Kp in whole range of measured flow rates is plotted.;EFFECT: technical result is increase of accuracy of simulation technique of electromagnet flow meters in conditions corresponding to high magnetic Reynolds numbers.;1 cl
