FIELD: materials.;SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for nondestructive control and technical diagnosis of composite materials based on carbon plastic acoustic-emission method. Aim of invention is to calibrate by installations of acoustic transducer simulator along arc of semicircle, then the control zone confined by ARC semicircle, is divided into sectors, into which the successively installed acoustic transducer of signal simulator, one sets the minimum amplitude of generator simulator, defines arrival times of acoustic emission signals for constructing hodograph of velocities then at hodograph there is built a matrix of differences between times of arrival and location errors of simulator signals are calculated. Errors in determining coordinates are situated according to value of deviation of differences between times of arrival of signals at acoustic transducers of piezoantenna from values of corresponding differences of times of arrival into the matrix. In case of tolerable error calibration procedure is repeated, increasing amplitude of signals of the generator until location of the error stays within the range of allowable value. At the recorded acoustic emission signal amplitude in each channel there are their thresholds selection. Then the control object is loaded, record time of arrival of acoustic emission signals is compared with matrix values and at most close to determine coordinates of defects.;EFFECT: technical result is upgraded accuracy of locating defects in objects of composite materials based on carbon.;2 cl, 3 dwg
