Process for the purification of biogas and biogas purification plant

In a process for purifying biogas, the biogas is first fed to a compressor (6) and then compressed to a pressure of at least 1.5 bar. Then, water-soluble components of the biogas are washed out in a washing device (1) in which the compressed biogas is purified by contact with water. Subsequently, the purified biogas can then be removed. Furthermore, a biogas purification system is provided.
