A method and computer program product are provided, wherein the computer program product includes program instructions executable by a processor to cause the processor to perform the method. The method includes determining a level of interest at a geographic location and in response to a mobile communication device being present at the geographic location, automatically changing the operation of the mobile communication device based on the level of interest. For example, the operation of the mobile communication device may be automatically changed by loading an application that may be desired at the geographical location having the particular level of interest.
