Disclosed are methods and systems provided for detection of a specimen. In one exemplary embodiment comprises a process the following steps of: receiving by a processor of image data of a single camera, wherein the image data of an image of a scene; determined by the processor of stixel - data from the image data; detecting by the processor of an object based on said stixel - data; and selectively generate a warning signal by the processor on the basis of the detected object.
