The method involves projecting a point of a current torque curve on a nominal torque curve that is relocated with a chosen value, where the current torque curve is defined by a torque instruction so as to determine a corresponding relocated nominal torque instruction. A relocated nominal position instruction is determined corresponding to relocated nominal torque instruction. A position value of the relocated nominal position and a selected compensation value are added so as to obtain a final position instruction for an actuator (AC).
