The device (10) has a torque spanner (30) for screwing a screw (12) in threaded holes (22) of support (20). A torque sensor (40) determines the torque applied to the screw during screwing. A force sensor (50) determines axial force exerted by the screw. A bearing (60) allows rotation of the force sensor relative to the support during screwing. The sensor has a detection portion (52) placed partially around an axis (X) of the screw. The bearing is placed between a bearing surface (26) of the support and the portion or between a head (14) of the screw and the portion. The bearing is selected from one of needle or roller stop, ball bearing and centering part.
