The present invention relates to a coating of a flexible floor comprising a multilayer structure including at least one layer of wear (1), a layer of decoration (2) and a support layer (3), characterized in that it comprises at least one connecting layer (4) connected to the layer of decoration (2) consisting in a layer of ink pigment without a solvent which is deposited by an ink jet printer and connected to the lower face of the wear layer (1) or to the upper face of the support layer (3). Another object is to provide a process for manufacturing such a floor covering.
