In order to eliminate image defects produced by high-energy particles passing through an image sensor, with scrolling and signal integration, an upstream detection is performed on the numerical values provided by the pixels of the same rank having successively observed the same stage point. This detection makes it possible to ignore or correct the values resulting from corrupted pixels in the establishment of the digital signal representing the luminance of an observed scene point.
