An aero engine fuel system has a delivery fuel system for receiving pumped supply of fuel 30 and delivering a metered flow of fuel. The aero engine fuel system has a fuel manifold 34, 36 for receiving the metered fuel flow and supplying it to a plurality of engine combustor fuel burners 42. The aero engine fuel system further has an electrically powered subsidiary fuel pump for pumping fuel in the fuel manifold. The aero engine fuel system further has a thermo-electric generator 38 which powers the subsidiary fuel pump 40.
