Method for renovating and/or expanding navigable tunnel tubes

The method involves cleaning, drilling out, reinforcing a tunnel wall during shutdown or less traffic time. The drilled out section of the tunnel wall is plastered with mortar such that a track bed in navigable tunnel sections is cleaned. A required work machine is parked infront of a place, moved from the place after completion or interruption of the works and parked in a side track. Dusty air and/or air heavily loaded with exhaust gas is sucked off from originating points (11, 12) during renovating process and is cleaned by a filter system (6) co-operating with a processing machine (4). An independent claim is also included for a system for renovating and/or expanding navigable tunnel sections.
