MANAGEMENT OF SERVICE IN A MULTICHANNEL AND MULTI-HOP NETWORK

At least one service offered in a multi-hop transmission network suitable for transmitting packets of the service via a plurality of transmission entities over a set of N radio transmission channels, N being an integer greater than or equal to 2, is managed. At the level of an entity from among the plurality of transmission entities, to transmit a packet, there is provision to obtain firstly information relating to a level of current occupancy and to a level of future occupancy for each of said respective N channels. Next, a channel is selected from among said channels as a function of said information. Finally, the packet is transmitted over the selected channel.
