A device (7) is intended for controlling transmission of signals on N carriers from a second cell (2 1 ) of a wireless communication network (3) to communication equipments (4), this wireless communication network (3) further comprising first cells (1 1 -1 2 ) participating in an OTDOA method comprising transmission of PRSs during scheduled PRS time intervals, while this second cell (2 1 ) do not participate to OTDOA. This device (7) is arranged for scheduling signal transmission of the second cell (2 1 ) over a corresponding one of the N carriers during each scheduled PRS time interval, while blanking the N-1 remaining carriers, and over any one of the N carriers between the scheduled PRS time intervals.
