A power electronic circuit comprises an electrical first gate which has a first terminal and a second terminal, and a magnetic second gate which has a first independent terminal and a second independent terminal. The power electronic circuit comprises a first parallel load, which has a series connection of at least one first switch, one second switch and one third switch. The power electronic circuit further comprises a second parallel load, which is connected in parallel to the first parallel load and has a series connection of at least one first switch, one second switch and one third switch. The first terminal of the first gate is connected via a coil to a first node between the first and the second switch in the first and second parallel load. The second terminal of the first gate is connected via a coil to a second node between the second and the third switch in the first and second parallel load. The first nodes are magnetically coupled with the first magnetic terminal of the magnetic second gate by means of magnetically coupled coils coupled to said nodes. The second nodes are magnetically coupled with the second magnetic terminal of the magnetic second gate by means of magnetically coupled coils coupled to said nodes.
