A landing device (100, 200) for landing an aircraft (130) thereon is disclosed. The landing device (100, 200) comprises a first group (110-1) of supporting elements (115) arranged next to each other in a first direction, each supporting element (115) configured for supporting a portion of a body or a portion of a wing of the aircraft (130). Each supporting element is further configured to bow when loaded by the mass of the body portion or the wing portion supported by the respective supporting element (115).
