The device (1) contains a fire protection sleeve (2), which is arranged in the region of the passage (31) in the wall (30) or ceiling. The fire sleeve (2) is connected to a first sleeve end portion (6a) with the pipe end portion (12) of a feeding installation pipe (10a) and with a second sleeve end portion (6b) to the pipe end portion (12) of a lead-away installation pipe (10b). The at least one line (21) is guided by the supplying installation tube (10a) through the fire protection sleeve (2) into the away-carrying installation tube (10b). Inside the fire sleeve (2) an intumescent material (9) is arranged.
