Technical solution refers to the novel use of decamethoxine.;The novel use of decamethoxine is concerned with its use as antimicrobial agent against bacteria of the Burkholderia genus or bacteria of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa species.;The technical result achieved by the present technical solution: new decamethoxine property found (antimicrobial action against bacteria of the Burkholderia genus or of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa species) makes possible the development of more efficient drugs for the treatment of diseases caused by bacteria of the Burkholderia genus or bacteria of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa species, and adds to the arsenal of drugs for the treatment of diseases caused by bacteria of the Burkholderia genus or bacteria of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa species.
