PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the accuracy of hammering inspection.;SOLUTION: The hammering determination method includes a reference data collection part evaluation step (S1) of evaluating the appropriateness of a specific part as a reference data collection part based on impulse response data showing change with time in the magnitude of external force which is applied on a specific part of an object; a reference data collection step (S2) of collecting sound data when the external force is applied to the part which has been determined to be appropriate, as reference data; a reference generating step (S3) of generating a reference for determining the presence or absence of defects in the sound data collected by the application of the external force to the object, using the reference data; and a determination step (S4) of determining the presence or absence of defects in the object based on the sound data collected by the application of the external on the object and the reference.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
