PERSON COLLATION SYSTEM AND PERSON COLLATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person collation system configured to improve efficiency of person collation processing, and a person collation method.SOLUTION: A person collation system includes an imaging unit which is arranged to image a person passing through a first gate. A read unit is arranged to read person information including a person image represented by an ID carried by the person and attributes of the person, from the ID. A storage unit stores algorithms for attributes including processing of calculating similarity between an image obtained by capturing the person and the image included in the person information, for each of the attributes of the person. A selection unit selects an algorithm for an attribute included in the read person information, from the storage unit. A determination unit calculates similarity between the image captured by the imaging unit and the image included in the read person information, in accordance with the selected algorithm, and executes person collation processing of identifying the person with the person represented by the ID when the calculated similarity is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
