PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for assessing a human innate immune power level, and to provide baker's yeast beta glucan-containing products for the improvement of innate immune level measured by the methods.SOLUTION: In view of the above-described subject, the present inventors have examined eagerly to independently find that a systemic innate immune power level can be assessed quantitatively by measuring/quantifying human herpesvirus 7 in saliva, and create a novel assessment method of an innate immune power level. Furthermore, we found that an innate immune power level against a reduced innate immune power level assessed by the human herpesvirus 7 in saliva can be increased to improve the innate immune power level, by orally ingesting baker's yeast beta glucan every day.
