KNITTING METHOD FOR KNITTED FABRIC WITH FRINGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitting method for a knitted fabric with a fringe which can form a long fringe.;SOLUTION: A knitting method for a knitted fabric 10 with a fringe includes: a knitting step of knitting the knitted fabric 10 having a non-knitted section 12 by using a weft knitting machine; and a cutting step of cutting the non-knitted section 12 at a prescribed position C to make knitting yarns in the non-knitted section 12 into a fringe 14. In the knitting step, stitches 21 and 22 are knitted in one or a plurality of wales in the non-knitted section 12, and draw-off is performed in other wales. A plurality of crossover portions 23 can be provided via the stitches 21 and 22, so that the knitted fabric 10 having the non-knitted section 12 with a desired length can be knitted, thereby enabling the long fringe 14 to be formed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
