PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion nozzle for a twin-drum type continuous casting device, which is capable of uniformly and simultaneously discharging molten metal to all molten metal stay parts at the start time of casting.SOLUTION: This immersion nozzle for the twin-drum type continuous casting device is provided with: a nozzle body 21 having a bottom surface shape along the longitudinal direction of a cooling drum and a discharge hole 22 formed near the bottom surface; and a float body 31 disposed so as to be vertically movable inside the nozzle body 21. A gate part 23 through which molten metal is distributed to the discharge hole 22 is provided inside the nozzle body 21. A plug part 33 that seals the gate part 23 is provided below the float body 31. By storing the molten metal inside the nozzle body 21 in the state of sealing the gate part 23 by the plug part 33, the float body 31 moves upward to remove the plug part 33 from the gate part 23, and the molten metal stored inside the nozzle body 21 is supplied through the gate part 23 to the discharge hole 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
