PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer robot that plays the role of transporting a workpiece between the presses of a press line, characterized in that the necessity of maintenance repairing is small because a load can be prevented from being concentrated on only one spot during the driving of an arm constituting the transfer robot.;SOLUTION: This transfer robot includes: a lateral plate-shaped center plate material formed with a longitudinal direction set perpendicular to the transfer direction of a workpiece; a pair of arm units provided with many arms mutually rotated on a surface parallel to the center plate material and respectively hinge-coupled to both ends of the center plate material in the longitudinal direction; a workpiece coupling base to both ends of which the tail ends of the pair of arm units are coupled; and vertical moving means for vertically moving the center plate material. Each of the arm units is provided with: a first arm coupled to the center plate material and rotated by a first motor; and a second arm coupled to the tail end of the first arm and rotated by rotating the first arm.
