PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jet engine, a flying body and an operation method for the jet engine in which a reduction in thrust force of the jet engine caused by reaching of a high pressure region to an inlet can be prevented.SOLUTION: A jet engine includes a combustor 12 comprising an inlet 11 for taking in air and a fuel injection port 30a for injecting fuel so as to ignite fuel injected from the fuel injection port 30a with air. The combustor 12 includes a separating part 14 for defining an air flow passage FA where air flows between a rear end 15 of the inlet and the fuel injection port 30a. The separating part 14 has several turbulent flow generating parts (20; 25) for making turbulence flow of air. Each of several turbulence flow generating parts (20; 25) includes members (21; 22; 25B) capable of restricting a turbulence flow of air due to its motion or diminishing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A
