PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making an entity mention in a short text associated with an entity in a semantic knowledge base, and a device.SOLUTION: This method includes: a step for selecting a candidate entity related to an entity mention in a short text from an entity in a semantic knowledge base; a step for deciding a category to which the candidate entity and the entity mention belong; a step for deciding an attribute set having the highest discriminability of the category to which the entity mention belongs; a step for calculating the similarity of the candidate entity and the entity mention belonging to the category on the basis of the attribute set; and a step for selecting the candidate entity on the basis of the similarity, and making the candidate entity associated with the entity mention.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
