PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric authentication apparatus capable of reducing a burden on a user, and an organism authentication method and an organism authentication program.SOLUTION: The biometric authentication apparatus includes: an acquisition section that acquires a piece of information of user's line of sight; a first extraction part that extracts first characteristics of the line of sight based on recognized characteristics from the information of line of sight; a second extraction part that extracts second characteristics of line of sight based on ocular movement characteristics from the information of line of sight; a collation section that collates the first characteristics of line of sight, which is previously registered, and the first characteristics of line of sight extracted by the first extraction part, and collates the second line of sight characteristics, which is previously registered, and the second characteristics of line of sight extracted by the second extraction part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
