PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation technique that enables quantitative determination of a peak detection performance of a narrow area of an infrared thermograph with ease using tools easily available for electronic device designers.SOLUTION: An evaluation member for evaluating a performance pertaining to temperature detection of an infrared thermograph comprises: a first area; and a second area that is formed adjacent to the first area. The second area is larger than the first area, and the evaluation member is configured such that the first area and second area receive different amounts of infrared radiated when the evaluation member is heated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
