PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel reporter vector, assay kit, method, and apparatus for evaluating cell characteristics of test cells.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a reporter vector comprises a first reporter gene expression unit, a second reporter gene expression unit, and a replication origin sequence. The first reporter gene expression unit comprises a promoter sequence of a cell characteristic marker, a first reporter gene located downstream thereof, and a first transcription termination sequence located downstream thereof. The second reporter gene expression unit comprises a promoter sequence exhibiting a constitutive activity, a second reporter gene located downstream thereof, a bicistronic expression sequence existing downstream thereof, and a replication origin protein gene existing downstream thereof, and a second transcription termination sequence downstream thereof. The replication initiation sequence binds to a replication origin protein synthesized from the replication origin protein gene, thereby initiating the replication of the reporter vector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
