PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to accommodate a strip member made of a metal wire in a metal mold in a stable state.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a strip member made of a metal wire comprises a lower die 52 on which a recess 53 is formed, and an upper die 56 on which a salient 57, which can be provided in the recess 53 so as to block an upper space in the recess 53, is formed, in which an inner face of the recess 53 includes a central die surface 53a formed at a width direction center of a bottom of the recess 53, and a pair of curvature guide die surfaces 53b which are continuously provided on both sides of the central die surface 53a and are so curved as to be protruded outwards, and the central die surface 53a prepares a metal mold 50 formed on a plane or a surface which is curved more gently than the pair of curvature guide die surfaces 53b. A joint processing part of a strip member 20B made of a metal wire is folded in two and is located in the recess 53, and metal wires are joined to one another between the salient 57 and the recess 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
