PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable-dividing hardware removing device and a cable-dividing hardware removing method that enable one person to easily perform a work of withdrawing a cable-dividing hardware alone from the ground.SOLUTION: A cable-dividing hardware removing device comprises an operation rod 10 and a withdrawing unit 20 provided at the tip of the operation rod 10 to grip a cable-dividing hardware 100. The withdrawing unit 20 includes a grip portion 40 having a guide rail 50, a slit provided at one end side of the guide rail 50 to sandwiching at least the proximal end side of a hook portion 111, and a recess 458 which defines the relative position between a nut 150 and a ratchet wrench mechanism 30 and engages with a projection 115 to lock the cable-dividing hardware 100, a sliding mechanism 60 which is provided on the other end side of the guide rail 50 and connected to the operating rod 10, and the ratchet wrench mechanism 30 which is freely slidably provided along the guide rail 50 to loosen the nut 150.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
