PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a linear edge tool, which enables continuous manufacture of the linear edge tool, which can drastically reduce a working process, working time and a working cost, and which can promptly adapt even to the linear edge tool with a special length.SOLUTION: A pair of roller dies 2, 2 for forming a die hole for working a wire 1 in a predetermined shape is prepared. The die hole comprises acute angle parts 2c, 2 for forming an edge. The wire 1 is passed through the die hole while the roller dies 2,2 are rotated. Thus, a cross-section of the wire 1 is formed in a preset shape. Simultaneously, the edge 14d is formed in at least one end edge of the wire 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
