PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a total requested amount of received product orders from customers and observe a time limit for product delivery over a long term while maintaining the production capacity of a production line constant by a production plan adjustment assist device, even when there is a short-term change of received orders from customers.SOLUTION: Regarding a product for which production increase is required on an adjustment day after confirmation of a production plan after preliminary showing, a production plan adjustment assist device corrects the production plan so as to reduce a production amount on a day following the adjustment day ahead of schedule and increase production on the adjustment day. Next, in order to secure process capacity that meets production increase on the adjustment day, the device finds another product to be reduced in production on the adjustment day. The other product to be reduced in production is selected from those having high priority in production decrease taking into account a safety stock. For the other product reduced in production, a production plan is mapped out so that the production will be evenly increased on a day following the adjustment day.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 25B
