PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size in a direction along a cross section of a narrow wall surface of a waveguide in sizes of patterns to be disposed on a surface of a dielectric substrate in a waveguide/transmission line converter, and to facilitate a manufacture process or a design change of a waveguide/transmission line converter by eliminating the need to newly form again a conductor thin film on a surface of the dielectric substrate when making low a resonant frequency of the waveguide/transmission line converter.;SOLUTION: A waveguide/transmission line converter 1 is configured to mutually convert power transmitted by a waveguide 11 and power transmitted by a transmission line 12. The waveguide/transmission line converter 1 comprises: a dielectric substrate 13 which is disposed in such a manner that an opening of the waveguide 11 is closed; and a matching element 17 which is disposed on a surface of the dielectric substrate 13 and inside of the waveguide 11 and coupled with the transmission line 12, and with which an opening hole 18 is formed, a peripheral edge of the opening hole being opened.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
