PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve water quality of treated water within an underground structure by properly suppressing inflow of groundwater into the underground structure.;SOLUTION: A method for controlling inflow of groundwater into a scale sluice 20 includes a first step of estimating a groundwater inflow area to be a third scale sluice 20c, in the scale sluice 20, and a second step of pumping the groundwater around the third scale sluice 20c.
