METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FORMING CRACK PREVENTION GROOVE ON CAST CONCRETE SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a crack prevention groove on a cast concrete surface.;SOLUTION: A method to form a crack prevention groove includes the following steps for: installing a plurality of long and thin top edge instruction members on a ground; setting a height of each of the top edge instruction members from the ground at a height of a desired finished concrete surface, using a top edge setting device; supplying fresh concrete on the ground to a height corresponding to the top edge instruction member; leveling the fresh concrete using the top edge instruction member as a reference; and removing the top edge instruction member from the concrete after the leveled concrete solidifies, to form a crack prevention groove. The top edge instruction member has a wedge-shaped cross-section. The top edge setting device supports the top edge instruction member such that a tapered tip of the wedge-form of the top edge instruction member faces toward the ground, and detachably in a direction away from the ground.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
