PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving energy efficiency as a whole by collecting/utilizing waste heat of power generation using a woody biomass over multiple stages.SOLUTION: Among a power generation method (1) utilizing a temperature difference in a gaseous state, a power generation method (2) using high-temperature water, a method (3) using high-temperature water as a heating source and a method (4) using high-temperature water itself, three or more methods are combined with a process for gasifying a woody biomass and generating power by burning the gas. As the method (1), two sets of thermoelectric modules are installed. At a high temperature side, one set of the thermoelectric modules is used for power generation utilizing waste heat of a reducible high-temperature gas, the other set of the thermoelectric modules is used for power generation utilizing waste heat of an oxidized gas, and the sets of the thermoelectric modules are switched. As the method (2), hot water at 100 to 80°C is used as a heat source of binary power generation and then, drained hot water is used for an application of (3). As the method (3), warm water is used for adjusting a temperature of water for cultivation of fishes, and the water for cultivation is caused to pass a layer of beads containing minerals generating terahertz waves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
