PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil permeability evaluation method and soil permeability measuring apparatus capable of rapidly and easily evaluating the soil permeability.SOLUTION: An ordinary steel and galvanized steel are attached to the tip side of a pile-like probe buried in soil so that they are electrically independent. A natural potential Eof each of the ordinary steel and galvanized steel in the soil is measured using a reference electrode. The value of each measured natural potential Eis compared with a reference potential width of each of the ordinary steel and galvanized steel previously created on the basis of an actual value. By comparing the measured natural potential Ewith the predetermined reference potential width, the air permeability in the soil as a measuring object is gradually evaluated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
