PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery managing system which can recover elevator apparatuses over a wide area while taking preference of an area having a low restoration rate of elevator apparatuses, and a method for the same.SOLUTION: A recovery managing system for an elevator apparatus comprises a worker allocation system which uses a computer to allocate a plurality of workers to a plurality of areas where elevator apparatuses exist for elevator apparatus restoration. The computer acquires worker information including location information, information on an area where a worker is to move among the plurality of areas, and a method of movement, from each of the workers. A target area for elevator apparatus restoration is set among the plurality of areas, level of suitability of the plurality of workers with respect to the target area is calculated based on the worker information, and workers are allocated to the target area for elevator apparatus restoration based on the level of suitability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
