PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for an electrically-driven steering device that can stabilize a vessel operation while suppressing a damage to a driving gear and a driven gear that occurs when the driven gear of a helm is rotated by the driving gear, and downsize a device configuration.;SOLUTION: A driving device 11 in an electrically-driven steering device 1 includes: a motor 12; a speed reducer 13 for reducing rotational power output from the motor 12 and outputting it from a carrier 25 which is an output shaft; and a pinion 17 provided to the carrier 25 which is a driving gear that meshes with a pinion gear 104 fixed to a helm so that the rotation center is located on the rotation axis of the helm.
