PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of abnormal noise due to flapping of an electric wire.;SOLUTION: The exterior material for a wire harness includes a pipe 11 having an electric wire insertion space 14 through which an electric wire 12 can be inserted. The pipe 11 is provided with a reduced diameter portion 24 that bends radially inwardly to narrow the wire insertion space 14. The electric wire 12 inserted into the wire insertion space 14 of the pipe 11 can reduce or eliminate a clearance between the wire and an inner peripheral surface of the pipe 11 within the reduced diameter portion 24, and flapping is suppressed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
