PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously check a watching target's whereabouts.;SOLUTION: A whereabouts management device receives detection signals that are transmitted by one or more watching side terminals 3 for detecting a beacon signal originated from a beacon terminal 5 that can be held by a child and originates a beacon signal including an identification ID, and include positions, time and radio wave strength at the time of the watching side terminals 3 having detected the beacon signal and the identification ID included in the detected beacon signal; and manages whereabouts information for beacon terminals 5 corresponding to identification IDs on the basis of time included in the detection signals, in a lump every five minutes. The whereabouts management device, when having accepted a whereabouts information acquisition request from a parent terminal 4, identifies whereabouts information based on a detection signal having maximum radio wave strength from pieces of whereabouts information for five minutes, in units of five minutes; and provides the child's whereabouts for the parent terminal 4 by using the identified whereabouts information.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
