ASEISMIC EMBANKMENT STRUCTURE, AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF ASEISMIC EMBANKMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismic embankment structure and a construction method for an aseismic embankment that may be realized through simple construction processes and effectively enhance seismic stability of the embankment.SOLUTION: An aseismic embankment structure 100 includes a long member 20 having an end 20a held in a block 1 and integrated with a retaining wall 10, and a covered member 30 fixed on the end 20a of the long member 20 protruding on a wall surface of the retaining wall 10, the cover member being integrated with the retaining wall 10. Therefore, the aseismic embankment structure suppresses collapsing of the retaining wall 10 with the long member 20 that functions as an anchor and suppresses partial squeezing out of the block 1 by the covered member 30 covering the wall surface of the retaining wall 10 when earth pressure of an embankment 50 is exerted on the retaining wall 10, and therefore prevents damage to the retaining wall 10. With the aseismic embankment structure 100 that includes the hard-to-be-damaged retaining wall 10, seismic stability of the embankment 50 may be preferably enhanced. Also, the aseismic embankment structure may be constructed through simpler construction processes compared to a construction method in which the retaining wall is built by casting concrete at a site.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
