PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setup method for mounting a mold in a toggle type injection molding machine achieved in a short time.;SOLUTION: Provided is a method structured as a setup method for mounting a mold in a toggle type injection molding machine (1) in which the mold is opened and closed by driving a cross head (12) and positions of a mold clamping housing (7) can be adjusted by driving a tie-bar nut provided to a tie bar (9). Regarding a plurality of molds, each of the molds and set housing positions of the respective molds are stored in a controller (26) in an associated manner. The set housing position is a position of the mold clamping housing (7) where a prescribed set mold clamping force can be acquired at a mold clamping completed position at which the cross head (12) stops at the time of mold clamping. When an arbitrary mold out of the plurality of molds is selected and mounted to a toggle type mold clamping device (3), the set housing position stored by being associated with the selected mold is acquired and the tie-bar nut is driven to adjust the mold clamping housing (7) to the set housing position.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
