PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure neutrons after making measurements by a neutron detector and a gamma ray detector separately.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a neutron measurement apparatus 100 has: a neutron detector 1; a gamma ray detector 2; a neutron detector signal processing unit 10 which receives signals from the neutron detector 1 in sequence, performs Fourier transform on signals received for a predetermined period to generate neutron detector signal frequency data in the frequency domain, calculates a neutron detection signal power spectrum, and stores it; a gamma-ray detector signal processing unit 20 which receives signals from the gamma ray detector 2 in sequence, performs Fourier transform on signals received for a predetermined period to generate gamma ray detector signal frequency data in the frequency domain, calculates gamma ray detector signal power spectrum, and stores it; and a neutron calculation processing unit 30 which generates a neutron signal by removing a contribution equivalent to the gamma ray detector signal power spectrum from the neutron detector signal power spectrum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
