PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing glass ceramics made of energy conservation type blast-furnace slag, capable of reducing energy consumption necessary for melting materials by using the sensible heat of molten blast-furnace slag in the melting process of other sub-materials necessary for producing glass ceramics.SOLUTION: All materials are melted to be made homogeneous, and then poured into a constant-temperature mold allowed to be flexibly controlled, and thus without changing a furnace, formation of a glass base, nucleation of glass ceramics, growth of a crystal, and cooling up to a room temperature can be performed in the mold. The inside of the mold can be designed to an optional shape or a size, or divided, and independent temperature and heat insulation time control can be realized for each area of the mold. The present invention provides a method for producing glass ceramics made of energy conservation type blast-furnace slag, capable of simplifying a process by optimizing the amount of blast-furnace slag as a raw material for producing glass ceramics to set rational process parameters and thus reducing energy consumption to shorten a manufacturing cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: None
